Kia ora whānau,
We’re excited to share this episode with you. Currently, the Sale and Supply of Alcohol (Harm Minimisation) Amendment Bill (big name we know) is going through parliament. The bill aims to provide sensible regulation to the alcohol industry, hoping in doing so to reduce the harm that alcohol is having within our community.
So to learn more about the bill and how we can all help to reduce alcohol harm in our communities, we thought who better to speak to than our ole mate and Green Party MP for Auckland Central, than Chlöe Swarbrick. In this episode we discuss the Alcohol Harm Reduction Bill. How it can reduce harm in our communities, the research behind it and some of the common misconceptions around the bill. We hope you enjoy the kōrero.
